Born in 1956 in St-Jean-Port-Joli, Rosaire Jean has always shown great interest in painting, ceramics and sculpture.  It is yet his Master's degree in vegetable Ecology that lead him to these art forms of all sorts stimulated him visually during all his studies and brought him back principally to painting.

Water-lilies and other flowers, fruits, peaceful landscapes, quiet ponds are his favorite subjects. He wants to show the subtle beauty of nature while impregnating the piece with the emotion it inspires in his soul. Figurative and expressionist style.
